Design
To house the client's wishes for dedicated home office and gym space, we designed a modern extension to seamlessly blend with the existing building volumes. The addition harmonizes with the original structure through thoughtful design, using complementary materials and clean lines. The extension not only enhances the functionality of the residence but also elevates its aesthetic, creating a balanced composition of volumes.
Large windows bring in natural light, creating an inviting and productive environment. The home office is self sufficient and features dedicated quiet space for focus and creativity, offering a retreat within the home. Folding doors present panoramic views of the garden and open directly to this garden to allow the useable area to expand. This visual and spatial fluidity enhances the sense of openness and airiness.
